| God Has Spoken Through His Son1In the past God spoke to our people through the prophets*. He spoke to them many times and in many different ways. 2And now in these last days, God has spoken to us again through his Son. He made the whole world through his Son. And he has chosen his Son to have all things. 3The Son shows the glory* of God. He is a perfect copy of God’s nature, and he holds everything together by his powerful command. The Son made people clean from their sins. Then he sat down at the right side* of God, the Great One in heaven. 4The Son became much greater than the angels, and God gave him a name that is much greater than any of their names. 5God never said this to any of the angels:
“You are my Son. Today I have become your Father.”* God also never said about an angel,
“I will be his Father, and he will be my son.”* 6And then, when God presents his firstborn* Son to the world*, he says,
“Let all God’s angels worship him.”* 7This is what God said about the angels:
“He changes his angels into winds* and his servants into flaming fire.”* 8But this is what he said about his Son:
“God, your kingdom will last forever and ever. You use your authority for justice. 9You love what is right and hate what is wrong. So God, your God, has chosen you, giving you more honor and joy than anyone like you.”* 10God also said,
“O Lord, in the beginning you made the earth, and your hands made the sky. 11These things will disappear, but you will stay. They will all wear out like old clothes. 12You will fold them up like a coat, and they will be changed like clothes.
But you never change, and your life will never end.”* 13And God never said this to an angel:
“Sit at my right side until I put your enemies under your power*.”* 14All the angels are spirits who serve God and are sent to help those who will receive salvation. |

| 하나님께서 아드님을 통해서 말씀하셨다 1옛날에는 하나님께서 예언자*들을 통하여 여러 번에 걸쳐 여러 가지 방법으로 우리 조상들에게 말씀하셨습니다. 2그러나 이 마지막 때에 와서는 당신의 아드님을 통하여 우리에게 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님께서는 이 아드님을 모든 것을 물려받을 상속자로 세우시고, 그분을 통하여 온 우주를 만드셨습니다. 3아드님은 하나님의 영광을 드러내는 찬란한 빛이시며, 하나님과 꼭 같은 본성을 지니시고, 능력 있는 말씀으로 모든 것을 보존하십니다. 그분은 사람들의 죄를 씻어 주신 뒤에, 하늘에 계신 지극히 높으신 하나님의 오른편에 앉으셨습니다. 4그분은 천사들보다 더 위대한 이름을 물려받으셨으니, 천사들보다 더 높은 분이 되신 것입니다. 5하나님께서 천사들 가운데 어떤 천사에게 이렇게 말씀하신 적이 있으십니까?
“너는 내 아들. 오늘 내가 너를 낳았다.”시 2:7
그리고 하나님께서 어느 천사에게 이렇게 말씀하신 일이 있으십니까?
“나는 그의 아버지가 되고 그는 내 아들이 될 것이다.”삼후 7:14 6그리고 또 하나님께서 당신의 맏아들*을 세상으로 보내시면서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다.
“하나님의 모든 천사는 그를 경배하여라.”*신 32:43 7하나님께서 천사들에 대해서는 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다.
“하나님께서는 당신의 천사들을 바람*으로 삼으시고,
당신의 종들을 불꽃으로 삼으신다.”시 104:4 8그러나 아드님에 대해서는 성경에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다.
“오 하나님, 당신의 보좌는 영원무궁하며, 정의의 홀이 당신의 나라를 다스리는 홀입니다. 9당신께서는 언제나 정의를 사랑하시고 불의를 미워하셨습니다. 그래서 하나님, 곧 당신의 하나님께서 당신께 기쁨의 기름을 부어 당신의 동료들 위로 높이 들어 주셨습니다.시 45:6-7 10또 하나님께서는 성경에서 이렇게도 말씀하셨습니다.
“오 주님,
당신께서는 맨 처음에 이 땅의 기초를 놓으시고
당신의 손으로 저 하늘을 지으셨습니다. 11땅과 하늘은 사라지겠으나
당신께서는 영원히 계실 것입니다.
그것들은 모두 옷처럼 낡아지고 말 것입니다. 12당신께서는 그것들을 겉옷처럼 두르르 말아 버리시고,
그것들은 옷처럼 변해 버리고 말 것입니다.
그러나 당신께서는 언제나 한결같으시며
당신의 세월은 결코 끝이 없을 것입니다.”시 102:25-27 13하나님께서 어느 천사에게 이렇게 말씀하신 일이 있었습니까?
“내가 네 원수들을 네 발아래 둘 때까지 너는 내 오른편에 앉아 있어라.”시 110:1 14모든 천사는 구원을 상속 받을 사람들을 섬기라고 하나님께서 보내신 영들이 아닙니까? |
